Detect property fraud for free

HM Land Registry recently launched their Property Alert service. This award winning service allows property owners to monitor their property by enabling email alerts when certain activity occurs relating to the property.

Registering is easy. All you need is an email address and the postcode or title number of the property you wish to monitor. You can monitor up to ten properties – this list may then be edited freely at any time.

Once registered, you will be sent an email when official searches and applications are made against a property you are monitoring. This allows you to take swift action when any suspicious searches are made.

Please note that a user does not need to own the property for them to monitor it. Furthermore, multiple people can be monitoring the same property. To access the Property Alert service, visit the HM Land Registry Website or call 0300 006 0478.
