"I joined the Firm in 1959 following Bedford
School and Cambridge University (Fitzwilliam College) as an Articled
Clerk qualifying with Honours in 1962 and being admitted to Partnership
in 1967. I retired as a Partner in April 2003 and now use my ability and experiance as a Consultant to Sharman Law.
I specialise in Commercial Property and Company
Law dealing with the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold
property and portfolio estates comprising many properties, together
with the acquisition and disposal of private companies.
I am a Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman
of the Worshipful Company of Loriners and apart from connections
with several charitable organisations within Bedford, my main interest
remains with rowing having been President of Bedford Rowing Club,
Secretary of the Bedford Regatta for 16 years and currently Hon.
Secretary of Leander Club, Henley on Thames which is the centre
for the Men's Heavyweight National Squad."
