Ian Codrington

"I joined the Firm in 1959 following Bedford School and Cambridge University (Fitzwilliam College) as an Articled Clerk qualifying with Honours in 1962 and being admitted to Partnership in 1967. I retired as a Partner in April 2003 and now use my ability and experience as a Consultant to Sharman Law.

I specialise in Commercial Property and Company Law dealing with the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold property and portfolio estates comprising many properties, together with the acquisition and disposal of private companies.

I am a Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Loriners and apart from connections with several charitable organisations within Bedford, my main interest remains with rowing having been President of Bedford Rowing Club, Secretary of the Bedford Regatta for 16 years and currently Hon. Secretary of Leander Club, Henley on Thames which is the centre for the Men's Heavyweight National Squad."
