Fiona Gregory

''Having been born in Bedford, I returned to my roots when I joined the Firm in 1984 as an Assistant Solicitor undertaking civil and criminal litigation. I gradually transferred to commercial and residential conveyancing and became a Partner in 1986 and Managing Partner in 1993, qualifying as a Notary in 1995. I left the Firm in 1997 to pursue my career elsewhere and in 2004 became a self employed Consultant specialising in operational issues relating to the creation and management of residential conveyancing units. I continued as a Notary throughout and returned to the Firm as a Consultant in April 2006. During my time in Bedford I was a Soroptimist, school governor at Dame Alice Harpur Trust School, founder member of Bedfordshire Businesswomen’s Club and for nine years I was the Honorary Secretary to the Bedfordshire Law Society. Currently I am a Non-Executive Director of the British Friendly Society Ltd, which has its head office in Bedford.''
